India’s beloved comedian Raju Srivastava passes away at the age of 58
Raju Srivastava, a prominent comedian, passed away at the AlIMS Delhi, today. The comedian was 58 years old (December 25, 1963) when he was brought to the hospital on August 10, 2022, due to a heart attack. He was in the intensive care unit and on life support, with doctors doing all they could to bring the unconscious comic back to his senses. However, he also had a brain injury, which exacerbated his condition.
Raju’s health has suffered a significant setback. Raju responded well to his treatments, and his health began to improve. Unfortunately, this was not enough for Raju, and the renowned comic has apparently died.
The comedian-actor did not strengthen during his treatment, and he did not respond to it. Concerning his situation, Srivastava’s team revealed that he experienced a heart attack while exercising. “He had the stroke while working out on the treadmill at 11:30 a.m. He is presently steady. There is currently no cause for concern. Doctors are performing testing, and we will provide further information as soon as possible “On August 9, his team stated.
But fate had other ideas for Raju Srivastava.
Srivastava, Raju Raju was born in Kanpur, India, to a humble middle-class family. His father, Ramesh Chandra Srivastava, was a poet known as Bala Kaka Smrastava, who was acclaimed for his superb comedy timings since boyhood and aspired to be a comedian. He appeared in a number of theatre productions both in India and overseas. Though he rose to prominence as an Amitabh Bachchan impersonator who also acted and mouthed sentences like the megastar, Raju was soon recognised for his own actions and comic abilities.
The Indian comedy community has lost an essential talent. We wish him well and pray for his family and supporters. We are confident that Gajodhar bhaiyya will now spread laughter in paradise.
