How did Jaime Oliver lose oodles of weight with diet?
Fitness enthusiasts take extra care of their workout regimen; however, one can never be sure of whether a chef follows a healthy diet. Oliver, when he realised how unhealthy his routine was, decided to slim down. While talking about his weight loss journey, he spoke about going back to school to study nutrition, traveling around the world where people live the longest, and evaluating their lifestyle.
Following this, Oliver changed his lifestyle completely with diet being the first step. In order to lose weight, he cut down on the foods that helped him slim down faster – lowering meat intake and increasing consumption of vegetables while getting more sleep and movement. In a nutshell, he switched to a healthier, plant-based diet while ignoring meat as much as possible.
The celebrity chef said that cooking healthier meals alone showed instant results – he lost 12 kilos quickly without having to starve. Instead, Oliver ate more than he used to by simply replacing meat with vegetables. And the one food which helped him speed up weight loss further was seaweed – one of the richest sources of iodine and the most nutritious vegetable in the world.
