In fourth place with 8,200 average monthly global searches was Princess Beatrice’s wedding dress from her 2020 lockdown wedding to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.
Beatrice’s dress was an altered version of a Norman Hartnell gown worn by the Queen in earlier years of her reign, and she paired it with Queen Mary’s Fringe Tiara, which the Queen wore to her own wedding.
And in fifth place with 7,700 average monthly global searches was the Queen’s wedding dress from 1947, which she wore to marry the Duke of Edinburgh when she was still known as Princess Elizabeth.
The Queen’s dress was made by Norman Hartnell, who designed countless outfits for the Queen and the Queen Mother over his lifetime.
The dress was made just two years after the end of World War 2, and the Queen was gifted extra clothing ration coupons from the government for her dress.
